This 3D visualization shows the three main types of fat cells in the human body: white, brown, and beige adipocytes. Their structural differences are highlighted — from the large lipid droplets of white fat cells to the mitochondria-rich, multilocular form of brown fat cells, with beige cells in between. Created as part of a medical 3D visualization module at ZHdK, the work combines scientific accuracy with digital modeling to make microscopic structures visually accessible for learning and research communication.
